Board & Train Program Options

image-asa-group-of-shepherds1 Week Board & Train Refresher Training – $900.00

Want to see what changes can happen in a short amount of time? Maybe your dog doesn’t have a lot of behavior or manner issues to learn or just needs a good refresh? If any of this sound familiar then our one-week Board and Train program is what you need. Consider this a vacation for both you and your dog. Your dog will get a small course in whatever unique training it needs. If your dog has already mastered their manners and there are particular issues you would like addressed we can certainly start the process to teach your dog how to better deal with those not-so- great habits or reactions. Training is done at our home in a productive and fun environment. Progress is made daily as we are constantly interacting with your dog and guiding him/her to be a Good Dog. Since your dog is receiving highly personalized care and training from us 24/7 we see what is and is not working and adjust our training methods accordingly to get the greatest results during the time your dog is with us. When it is time for your dog to go home we will work with you on all the lessons learned so that you are prepared to continue the training together at home.

Some of the many behaviors and manners we work on are:

  • Leash walking
  • Reliably come to you every time
  • Perform sit and down stays without breaking command
  • Place” command (your dog goes to a mat or bed and stays there until released)
  • Socialization with other dogs tailored just for your situation

2 Week Obedience Foundation Training – $1,750.00

This program is designed for the owners who are looking to dial in there obedience and build that internal bond with their dog, but don’t have any serious behavior issues! After spending 2 weeks working with me your dog will leave here with a solid foundation and a calm state of mind, which will allow for an easy transition for you to continue your training at home.

We specialize in state-of- the-art, low-level, communication-style E-Collar training. Our E-Collar program is nothing like you have ever seen, and is nothing like the E-Collar training of old. Contemporary E-Collar Training utilizes the softest, most gentle remote communication, and is one of the most humane and effective approaches to dog training available.

Your dog will learn the following skills and commands:

  • Walk politely on and off leash (eliminate pulling, barking)
  • Sit/Stay
  • Down/Stay
  • Place Command
  • Recall/Come
  • Crate Training
  • Treadmill
  • Waiting for food
  • Waiting at thresholds (doors, cars, crate)

We will also focus on any minor behavior issues, such as:

  • Jumping, Nipping, Mouthing
  • Excessive Barking
  • Counter-Surfing

This program includes a 30-minute consultation the day you drop your dog off, a 2-hour follow-up when picking up your dog where I will transfer all of the information, techniques, and strategies to you to insure continued success. Each dog receives an Einstein E-Collar, as well as a prong/training collar.

2 – 4 Week Behavioral Modification Training – $2,000.00

This program is designed for the dog that has bitten or attacked another dog or person! I found that a dog that is severely reactive whether to other dogs or people could take a little longer to rehabilitate and trust the leadership and boundaries that we set.  This starts by removing them from there own environment and setting a solid foundation for them to build off of.  Once we set the foundation, structure, and leadership is when we start to change the dogs’ state of mind from anxious/fearful, nervous to calm and collective. Once this is accomplished the unwanted behavior(s) are more controllable!

For dogs with severe behavior problems, such as:

  • Aggression
  • Food and/or Resource Guarding
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Severe Fear Issues
  • Leash Reactivity

This program includes a 30-minute consultation the day you drop your dog off, a 2-hour follow-up when picking up your dog where I will transfer all of the information, techniques, and strategies to you to insure continued success plus everything listed in the 2-week boot camp. Each additional week of training after the initial (14) days is $600.00.

Day Training Sessions

Anderson K9 Training offers an effective day-training program. With this four-week long option, you’ll drop off a hyperactive and ill-mannered pup in the morning, then pick up a better-behaved, worn-out dog that evening. Your dog will be taught all the basic obedience commands and will enjoy social play time with other dogs.
